The 1981 Eldorado is unique in that it came with a variable displacement engine otherwise known as the 8-6-4. This boosts the gas milage from 15 to 17 mpg on the highway which is pretty good for this era of car. Some other notable features include auto headlight dimming, climate control, auto pull-down trunk, and temperature gauge. Not to mention power doors, seats, and antenna. This car will beat a modern day volkswagon on features.
