This is my favorite American Made automobile, far and away. Classically styled, with the look of a muscle car, made over by the geniuses that used to be at Buick. The interior (I had the crushed velvet seats in all of my Regals), was firm, but soft, and well-suited for long trips. Plenty of headroom (I am 6'6"), and legroom, even in the backseat in the 4-door version. The drivetrain was wonderful. I opted for the 3.8L V6 in all of my Regals / Century / Cutlass Supreme Sedans. There was plenty of passing power, even at highway speeds, smooth shifting, and above-average gas mileage for it's time. The cars are long lasting, well-buits icons of America, and what our country used to be capable of making.

Bought the car in 87 while a junior in high school. It is a limited edition with the pillow seats that were very comfortable. I repainted it in 93 and drove it till 97. It's currently resting under cover in my building. At the time I wanted a grand national but couldn't afford one so this had to do.these were very nice cars for the price and time and very dependable. Only problem was they didn't have much power, but that was common in the early 80's. nice car over all for the period.

lOVED THIS CAR, It was roomy, comfortable, had a huge trunk. It was very enjoyable to take out on the highway. Plenty of room for the family and both dogs. The V8 gav e all the power needed for passing and getting to the top of the hills on the coquihalla.

For a car to last a long time it requires attention, care and space. I love this car because it was my first one. These were great cars that GM made at the time. The American Industry however has gone downhill unfortunately.
