Completely Stock 1971 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Small Block V8 producing 330HP Great piece of American Muscle heritage. Timeless Classic. One of my favourite cars ever to drive, it reminds me alot like the new corvettes in handling. Great piece of workmanship!

Bought it with 6,000 miles on it. Drove it til 99,000 miles. never had to change a valve cover. Engine remained untouched except for oil changes, spark plugs and wires and air filters. A few wheel bearings, u-joints (both a pain in the rear), and a little trans work and a hole in the pumpkin were real learning experiences but I wouldn't trade the enjoyment of driving that beauty and the looks I got for any amount of work I had to put in. Bridgehampton Blue with both tops. Loved it.

My family found this thing for $16,000 this past fall. It's a family-owned car, though it doesn't get driven all that much. It would be way too expensive to insure for general driving, so there has to be a limited-mileage policy to keep it reasonable. That's the only reason it doesn't get a perfect 5/5: it's a good Sunday, show, or fancy date car, but would you want to drive it to Safeway and park it in the lot with all the other cars? Full leather interior, slim steering wheel, removable T-top, even the fiber-optics work, letting you know if all your taillights are functional.
