Performance: top speed somewhere around 80 but thats a guess as the speedo tends to fly around all over the place. Build Quality: is actually held together with cellotape in places Appearance: lil bit rusty in places but that adds to the charm. COst of Ownership: no road tax, dirt cheap insurance

Traveller 1000 - It's like owning an old mini or V8, the steering was heavy, the suspension left me with a bruised scalp and freshly restored, I'd get cramp using the clutch or worse, the handbrake. But I could sleep in it, move flat, go camping and have picnics out the back of it, play polo out of the windows with other owners at rallies and best of all nobody ever trailgates. I was rear-ended once in it, I had a sore neck and some revarnishing/sanding to do - he replaced the car. We'd converted her to unleaded and got a surprisingly good mileage out of her. It just costs a fortune to do the repairs. Wish we could have kept her.
