This car is a family tradition. For two years when stationed at the Pentagon I could always find my car in the parking lot. I took my daughter from her wedding to the reception in it, and now my grandchildren love to ride in the rumble seat. The gas mileage is great and it will burn anything. Maintenance is done primarily by me, and I have a book with all the Model A service bulletins, so that helps. It is fun to drive, but I stay off the Interstate when I can as top speed is around 55 to 60. In addition, remember that it is equipped with mechanical brakes and takes a bit longer to stop than modern-day machinery. All-in-all, we now use it for short trips around the area, but in the past I covered most of the east coast, from Montgomery, AL to Washington DC, to Pennsylvania, and back down to Florida, where we now reside.

NEVER EVEN DROVE IT !!! 1928 Model A Roadster This is a pic I located to give a view of what the car I had was. Black, complete with flames. It was the most magnificent car I never had...never ? Yes,Dad purchased thsi for me as what was SUPPOSED to be my 1st car. He got it home, sat in it,saw me, then drove off and sold it before I could even sit in it. "Son,you will kill yourself in this, I dunno what I was thinking" he may have been right, but I would have still loved to try :)
