If you're going to buy from a small private dealer, be sure to have the vehicle inspected by someone who knows what they're doing. I appreciated Stephen letting me get an inspection done. He even recommended a shop nearby that was competent. It was worth the money. I didn't buy the car. The person who inspected the car had a lot to say about it. The thing that stuck out was "there is no amount of money you could spend to fix all the things wrong with it." In other words, in his estimation, even though the vehicle ran just fine, rust, bondo and various other issues would essentially destroy the car sooner rather than later. As Stephen pointed out, there are things you can't see when you buy vehicles at auction. I give him credit for recognizing that but, buyer beware. Don't buy an auctioned vehicle without a complete inspection.

Dealer was kind enough to stay open late for me when I had a long drive and got stuck in traffic on the way there. However, the truck was in very poor condition than described over the phone. There was significant body damage and tires were almost nothing even though I asked about it specifically over the phone. Not sure who they were trying to kid but they were pricing the truck I was looking at way too high for the damage. I pointed out every obvious flaw but it didn’t matter they would only drop the price by $500 because I had my OWN FINANCING.

I text and emailed separate times and no response from either at any time.
