Inquired about the car by message, but also asked about pricing, as this car has a known issue (Google it for proof). The 2005-2012 models have an issue where the radiator fails and the transmission cooler that goes through it then mixes fluids and it frys the transmission, causing at least $7,500 worth of repairs with needing a rebuilt trans, radiator, and adding an external trans cooler. It can quickly cost the value of the vehicle. So it was fair for me to inquire about this. His response was “I sold it”. However, both on his website and the Apps, the car continued to stay available and it even dropped in price a couple additional times, which means he clearly didn’t sell it. This tells me, he didn’t want to deal with someone who knew of the issue. This is concerning, because that means he’d rather sell it to someone that isn’t aware of the issue, which means someone likely bought a ticking time bomb.
