I believe that my trade in was greatly underpriced compared to what I had been told by car Gurus. I was only given a $7,500 trade in compared to other places that indicated about $11,000 because of the low mileage. And I was only given $7500 after bargaining with them who told me they would only give me $5,000! Yes, the front bumper and a side panel needed replacing. Geico told me that the damage was only $1,035 to repair. The back bumper had some damage, but I do not believe that it had to be replaced. But even if it needed to be replaced for $1,000, their offer of only $5,000 was ridiculous. I finally agreed to the $7,500 because I thought the price of the Toyota Rav4 was reasonable and that the mileage was only $11,000. However, later on I was told by Carfax that the mileage was actually $15,000. For these reasons, I really suspect the honesty of the people offering me a price for my trade.
