We were there for a long time with no communication. I almost left because of this. My trade in amount was very low and they are reselling it for a $10,000 profit. After 2 weeks I finally got the paperwork that I signed. Nothing was gone over with us about the vehicle. I had to call another dealership about some of the programs that came with it because they couldn’t answer them.

Went to check a vehicle I saw on their website and took it for a test drive. After returning to the dealership, found out the moonroof didn't work. Salesman asked if I broke it, which was ridiculous because all I did was just push the button. The salesman went inside and came back out to tell me the manager knew about the broken moonroof. He said it would get fixed if I purchased the vehicle. Also, there was a long deep scratch on the fender that wasn't shown in the photos. There was no mention of the broken moonroof and the fender scratch in the description of the vehicle on the website. Plus the price of the vehicle was based on it being in exceptional condition. I dealt with Hattie who's salesperson. Excellent communication. Very personable. Very nice vehicle. The only problem I ran into was that the dealership was 4 hours away and they did not deliver so I wanted a little more money off because I needed to travel and they said no which is understandable so there was no deal. If I live closer I would definitely buy a vehicle from the dealership and Hattie because she did such a fine job.

I got info via text. When I texted on a Tuesday that I was traveling from 3 1/2 hours away & would be coming on Friday to see the truck, I received a response that there are others interested in the truck. I responded & asked for him to let me know if the truck wasn't available since we were traveling so far - no response. I took a vacation day to specifically drive down & see this truck. Friday morning we drove about an hour and I texted them again to let them know we'd be there before noon. The response was "just now seeing this message, the truck is in the shop as it didn't pass inspection." I was quite shocked that they knew on Tuesday I was traveling quite aways to see this & no one notified me prior to Friday morning! I said it would have been nice to know this as I took a vacation day & no one responded!! They closed early on Fri for a company event & didn't bother to inform me. Went to another dealer & bought a truck, cash deal!! Won't go to McLain ever & don't recommend!
