After multiple hours, Shaun worked his magic and I was able to leave with a deal I was happy with. I’m 49 years old and have purchased many new and used vehicles, and this has been my worst experience. I bought a 2019 Chevy 2500 with about 40k miles, AS-IS, from Ohio while living in South Carolina. The salesman assured me it was “one of a kind,” low- mileage, in immaculate condition, with no issues. After flying in, picking up the truck, and driving home, the check-engine light came on within 1.5 hours. I texted the salesman—no response. I also discovered the heated seats didn’t work. My local dealership diagnosed a bad indirect fuel injector and control module costing $1,189.52. They also informed me the underbody and chassis had severe rust. Did not notice because the wheel arches and side of chassis was painted over Reviewing my paperwork, I then noticed the dealer even changed the agreed-upon loan term(text) from 72 months to 75 months without telling me. I reached out again and got no response In my view, the dealership was dishonest and misleading throughout the transaction
