Dealerships near me (Middletown, DE)

I called and asked to see a specific car. I then call the day i’m suppose to come in to just push the time back an hour, I get to this dealership and they told me they sold this car 5 days ago. Not once was it mentioned to me on the phone ( it was the same guy who i talked to on the phone as the one who was showing me cars) and their excuse was because i said that I could possibly be open to other options so they took that as in “oh it’s okay because she would want other cars”. No. I specifically said i wanted that car and to see it because it’s my top choice. It was never mentioned that the car was sold , I would’ve have drove 40 minutes to see it. After that the dealership had around 3 other options for me to look at with my constraints and one looked like it had been in a accident , when I asked about it he said he doesn’t know anything about the scratches and dent. So the accident came from my imagination ? Overall very disappointed with my experience there. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

We drove 2 hours there for them to tell us the vehicle was not there it was at a warehouse AND that it needed a new starter put on it before they could sell it AND that the vehicle had already been promised to not one but two other people! They are terrible communicators and I wouldn't trust anything they say let alone anything they sell!

The most sketchy experience I've ever had with buying a car. Made me come in on the last day of the month and I live an hour away to make a sale I go down to test drive it. They said there was shocks and these other issues that were going wrong but they would come back to my house to take it another day to get it fixed, which was kind of sketchy to me. Why couldn't it just stay there until it was fixed when I went down to test drive it my husband and I got on 95 with the salesman and the motor started misfiring and the check engine light went on trying to help him out. We tried to get the same exact car, but in another issue was wrong with it. There was a messed up armrest. My husband was trying to work with them and say if you wanted to make the sale today to swap the armrest out with the other vehicle and we'll take the other vehicle home. They were so pressed about not selling that one though when it was minimal problems, I will never get back to them. You get what you pay for

after i was turned down for credit and the dealer told me i needed a co signer .. after i got a co signer with great credit they flipped the script on me and said they cant because it falls under straw purchase when somebody buys something on your behalf BS .. called another dealer they said they never heard anything like that and i was able to purchase the vehicile i wanted with no issues with co signer
