Dealerships near me (Hawthorne, NJ)

Worst car lot I ever experienced! Had to park across the street at a supermarket parking lot. Took me an 1 hr 1/2 to get there. My appt was at 3. Got there at 2:45. The truck was not there. The Mngr tells me I had to wait an hour to see it, because it was at another dealership and a customer was looking at it. He was extremely rude and very arrogant. He said if the other customer wanted it, then basically I can leave. I expressed to him that this was very unprofessional. I was shocked at his response. I had an appt and the truck should've been there when I got there. He didn't care. He shrugged his shoulders like a 5 yr old boy. There was a couple sitting at the desk next to me and they left due to the Mngr just leaving them sitting there. He was horrible. I did report them to the BBB.

the best experience I ever had at a car dealership. I left out at Maxim Dealership feeling very happy and not as if i had gotten ripped off in order to get the vehicle that i wanted. Nicholas was very transparent with his price and never snuck in hidden fees and or hidden warranties. all of his vehicles are at a high drivable standard. Nick will answer all your calls and texts and a reasonable time. Maxim Dealership is the standard upon which all dealership should follow.!

I called this dealership 3 days prior and then 1 day prior before driving from Philadelphia to linden NJ(2hrs) away. I asked specific questions that would help me decide whether to travel that far or look elsewhere. I was told the car was fine & ready to go. Which it was if you wanted to bypass the mechanical issues & purchase the car anyway. While at the dealership for hours. No one came outside to initially acknowledge that we’re looking at a vehicle see had to go inside where the staff was rude & uninterested. I would not ever look at this lot again! They knew exactly what the issue was with the vehicle & failed to acknowledge or disclose that to the customer. Bad business! Transparency suck! Professionalism suck! Go elsewhere!!!

Price was $4,995 online, says for finance you have to put $3000 down, I go with full $5000 and he tell me the price is $8000.....all the vehicles on their site are priced differently then in person, just a scheme to get you in the door. I got there and the tires on the car were completely bald, car was filthy and the seat had rip in it that definitely didnt show online, waist of time
