Awful - after making appointment and confirming in the morning and receiving a re confirmation call an hour before appointment and driving an hour and a half to go to see the car - I had my financing ready and printed out and drove down to essentially buy the car on the spot - agent said that we needed to take my car first for the trade - I suggested swing the car first, he said it would be more efficient his recommended way, I said ok - went inside , it was about 1:30om at this point and then he offered us a seat - I gave him all my info and then all of a sudden and q few calls later he said “sorry, the car was sold last night” - if he had simply mentioned that when we reconfirmed in the morning then that would have save an hour and a half drive down and a hour and half drive back - a colosal waste of 3 hours of my day!

I will say my experience with them wasn’t great. I supposed to be the first line for the car. I sent all my information. then I thought we were gonna start the process in the morning. I text them around 11 AM. Then they told me they sell the car to another person. I was super disappointed. This is my dream car, and I was just speechless when I find the result that they went to another customer.

Consumers need to be very careful when dealing with car dealerships. In my experience, some dealerships appear to pressure customers into obtaining financing through the dealership rather than using a pre-approved loan from their own bank or credit union. I believe this practice is unethical. If a customer has already secured financing through their private bank, there should be no issue providing a purchase order so the transaction can move forward. Refusing to provide a purchase order simply because the customer chooses to use outside financing creates unnecessary obstacles and gives the impression that the dealership is prioritizing its financing profits over the customer’s right to choose how they pay for the vehicle. This is the situation I encountered with BMW of Coconut Creek in Florida. I obtained my own financing and was prepared to purchase the vehicle, yet I was told I could not receive a purchase order unless I financed through the dealership. Customers should be free to
