Jeep’s parent company, Stellantis (formerly Fiat Chrysler Automobiles), authorizes its dealers to certify and sell vehicles under a certified preowned (CPO) vehicle program.
Jeep CPO vehicles undergo a 125-point inspection before being sold. They also must meet an extensive list of other criteria. To qualify as a CPO vehicle, a Jeep must:
- Have fewer than 75,000 miles
- Have no frame or collision damage
- Be from within the last 5 model years
- Have a clean title
- Be free of modifications that change emissions or safety equipment
- Have all owner’s manuals, warranty booklets, and keys
In addition to passing an inspection and meeting the above criteria, certified pre-owned Jeeps must have all existing open recalls addressed prior to being sold.
Warranties
Certified pre-owned Jeeps come with one of three warranty options:
CPOV
The CPOV option includes a 7-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty and a 3-month/3,000-mile Extended Care Premium Limited Warranty. Most major powertrain components are covered, so long as no modifications or misuse have occurred. The coverage can be transferred to future owners as well.
CPO Gold
The CPO Gold option includes a 12-month/12,000-mile Extended Care Premium Limited Warranty.
CPO Go
The CPO Go option includes a 3-month/3,000-mile Extended Care Premium Limited Warranty.
Owners can also take advantage of available Lifetime Certified Warranty Upgrades, a warranty that will cover the certified pre-owned vehicle for as long as the owner keeps it.
Perks
Roadside Assistance
24/7 roadside assistance is included with your certified pre-owned Jeep, featuring Sign-And-Go coverage (up to $100 per occurrence). Services include flat-tire service, gas delivery, battery-jump assistance, lockout service, and towing service.
Car Rental Allowance
Jeep owners whose vehicle requires overnight repairs are eligible for up to $35 per day to cover a rental vehicle. The benefit is limited to $175, which covers up to 5 days of rentals. Taxis or other transportation costs may be eligible for coverage of up to $35.
Satellite Radio
Certified pre-owned Jeep vehicles come with a complimentary 3-month trial subscription to SiriusXM, with access to more than 150 channels, which allows listening on mobile devices, computers, or tablets.
