Mitsubishi offers a certified pre-owned program (CPO) for its vehicles at participating dealerships. In order to qualify as a CPO vehicle, the Mitsubishi must:
• Have fewer than 60,000 miles • Be from within the last 5 model years • Pass a 123-point inspection • Have a clean Carfax vehicle history report • Be free from major damage or accidents
The company’s dealers recondition CPO vehicles before they are listed for sale, and any needed services or recall work is performed before the vehicle’s sale. Certain models are excluded from the program, including the Lancer Evolution and other vehicles that may not be sold in the United States.
Warranty
Mitsubishi already has one of the longest warranties in the car business, and the company extends that coverage to its CPO vehicles. All certified pre-owned Mitsubishi vehicles come with a 10-year, 100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty that is counted from the vehicle’s original in-service date. There are no deductibles required for any services provided under the warranty. Covered parts include:
• Most internally lubricated engine parts • Transmission/transaxle and transfer case • Axle components • Differential components
Warranty coverage is transferable to subsequent owners of the Mitsubishi vehicle. The company also includes the remainder of the new vehicle limited warranty and the anti-corrosion limited warranty that came with the original purchase. The limited warranty runs for 5 years or 60,000 miles from the original in-service date and the anti-corrosion warranty runs for 7 years and up to 100,000 miles.

Every Mitsubishi CPO vehicle comes with roadside assistance that runs for the life of the 5-year limited warranty coverage period. Services include:
• Flat-tire changeover using the vehicle’s spare • Gas delivery • Battery jump starts • Lockout services • Towing to the nearest Mitsubishi dealer
Towing services are available under the 10-year, 100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty if the breakdown occurs due to failure of a covered component.
Special Financing
