Mazda certified pre-owned vehicles (CPO) must meet several criteria before being able to be sold in the program. To be considered, the Mazda must:
• Be from within the last 6 model years • Have fewer than 80,000 miles • Pass a 160-point inspection • Be free of major damage • Have a clean vehicle history report

Warranties
Powertrain Warranty
Every Mazda CPO vehicle is covered with a 7-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. Coverage includes protection for components such as turbochargers, the cylinder block, and the flywheel. The warranty period starts from the original in-service date. There is no deductible for repairs performed under warranty and it is completely transferable to a subsequent owner of the vehicle.
Non-Powertrain Warranty
A 12-month/12,000-mile non-powertrain warranty is included with the sale of a Mazda CPO vehicle. If there is coverage remaining from the factory warranty, CPO coverage begins on that warranty’s end date. If no coverage remains, the CPO warranty begins on the preowned vehicle sale date. There is no deductible for the non-powertrain warranty and coverage is transferable to a subsequent owner.
Extended Coverage
Mazda offers several options to extend or upgrade warranty coverage for its CPO vehicles. The company sells prepaid maintenance plans, as well as extensions and add-ons with various term and mileage intervals.
