To be considered for the Lexus certified pre-owned (CPO) program, a vehicle must be from within the last 6 model years and have fewer than 80,000 miles. CPO Lexus vehicles must also pass a 161-point inspection that includes:
• An exterior condition check for dents, rust, and other damage • A mechanical inspection for engine and drivetrain problems • Electronics, tech, and safety equipment checks • A tire inspection • A road test
Warranty
Lexus doesn’t split its CPO warranty into powertrain or comprehensive coverage and instead offers one program that covers the entire vehicle. The Lexus CPO warranty either extends the factory warranty or adds new warranty coverage for a vehicle whose factory coverage has expired. The warranty is valid for a minimum of 2 years after the expiration of the 4-year/50,000-mile factory coverage or 2 years from the CPO vehicle’s purchase date, whichever occurs later.
There is no mileage limit or deductible on the Lexus CPO warranty. Any repairs made while the vehicle is covered will be made at no cost to the owner, but there is a list of excluded components that includes:
• Standard upkeep items • Wear and tear items like brakes and tires • Certain body and interior components • Accessories

Roadside Assistance and Loaner Vehicles
Every Lexus CPO vehicle comes with Lexus Roadside Assistance that includes 24-hour service any day of the year. There is no deductible for the use of roadside assistance. If the CPO vehicle needs to be in the shop for an overnight repair that is covered under warranty, Lexus can provide a complimentary loaner vehicle for the duration of the work.
Car Rental and Travel Assistance
If your Lexus experiences a breakdown while you’re away from home, the company will reimburse you for meals and lodging for a maximum of 3 nights at up to $200 per night. You may be eligible for rental vehicle reimbursement as well, for a total of 5 days at up to $50 per day.
Included Maintenance
Lexus will cover all scheduled maintenance costs for the first four factory-recommended service intervals. This benefit lasts for up to 2 years or 20,000 miles after the CPO vehicle’s purchase.
Special Financing
Lexus offers lease products for their CPO vehicles that range from 24 to 48 months, depending on the age of the vehicle. The company also extends special financing offers and rates to CPO customers that vary based on location and time of year. Lexus Financial Services also sells a variety of extended warranty and financing protection plans for CPO vehicles.
