What’s New for the 2026 Audi Q8
The Q8 received a range of upgrades, including a new Convenience Plus package with 21-inch wheels and a Bang & Olufsen stereo. The Premium Plus trim gained ventilated front seats and acoustic glass, along with heated rear seats and power, soft-close doors.
Design
The Q8 takes the Q7’s family-friendly lines and puts a harder edge on them. It has a more dramatic roofline, along with muscular fenders and a large grille. Audi also offers a handful of wheel choices, depending on the trim, and buyers have several color and appearance package options to choose from.
Powertrain
The base engine is a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder unit, making 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The SQ8 comes with a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 making 500 hp, and the RS Q8 Performance model boosts output to 631 hp. All-wheel drive (AWD) is standard for all models, and the quickest model offers a blistering zero-to-60-mph time of just 3.4 seconds. That said, the Q8’s sporty suspension and large wheels do hurt its ride quality, but it offers a decent ride in most situations.

Interior
Audi equips the Q8 with a long list of standard features, including leather upholstery, heated front seats, a power panoramic sunroof, three-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and wood trim. Higher trims add ventilated front seats, premium leather, and more. The five-seat Q8 is spacious and comfortable across both rows of seats, and cargo space is solid: 28.5 cubic feet behind the rear seats and up to 56.4 cu ft with the rear bench folded flat.
Technology
The 2025 Q8 comes with a dual-screen infotainment system that features 10.1- and 8.6-inch displays. A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster is also standard, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, HD radio, SiriusXM radio, ambient interior lighting, and more. Higher trims get a Bang and Olufsen stereo, wireless phone charging, and additional USB ports.
Safety
The 2026 Q8 hasn’t been crash-tested yet, but it comes well-equipped with advanced driver-assistance gear. The list includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, traffic-sign recognition, lane-departure warning, a rearview camera, and more. A surround-view camera system and parking sensors are available.

Pricing and Release Date
As of the time of this writing, pricing for the 2026 Audi Q8 is not available, but expect a slight bump over the 2025 model’s prices. They started at $75,600 and climbed to $86,200 in the standard Q8, while the SQ8 started at $99,700. Pricing the RS Q8 started at $136,200, and all models were available with added-cost options that pushed those numbers higher in a hurry.
