What’s New for the 2026 Audi A6 Allroad
While the A6 sedan is all-new for the 2026 model year, the A6 Allroad wagon carries over with no major changes. Two trims are still available: Premium Plus and Prestige. Known internally as the C8 Generation, the 2024 model year brought significant changes to the A6 Allroad, including updated styling and a host of new standard features, Matrix-LED headlights among them. All 2026-model-year A6 Allroads now include Audi’s Signature Care scheduled maintenance program for up to three years or 30,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Design
The A6 Allroad features distinct styling, including a raised ride height and black contrast fenders. Drivers who are not a fan of this contrast can check the $1,000 full-body paint option. The only available wheels are a set of 20-inch 10-spoke wheels wrapped in all-season tires. A Black Optic package is available to black out the silver design details in the grille and roof rack, and it changes the contrasting paint color to Manhattan Gray.
Powertrain
You can have any powertrain you like as long as it's Audi’s venerable 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. Power is rated at 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, allowing the Allroad to sprint to 60 miles per hour in an impressive 5.4 seconds. Fuel economy is rated at 22 miles per gallon city and 30 miles per gallon highway.

Interior
Inside the A6 Allroad, drivers and passengers will find a well-appointed and designed interior that is classic Audi. Standard equipment includes four-zone climate control, heated and ventilated seats, and dual-pane acoustic glass. Stepping up to the Prestige trim adds a massage function to the front seats. Thanks to the wagon body style, rear seat passengers get a little more headroom compared to the sedan, and the cargo capacity is an impressive 30 cubic feet with the rear seats in place. Fold the rear seats down for even more cargo-carrying capacity.
Technology
The A6 Allroad comes standard with a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capacity. A 15-speaker Bang and Olufsen is standard, with a 19-speaker system optional for the audiophiles. A Wi-Fi hotspot, which is quite a handy feature on family roadtrips, comes standard as well. Drivers will find Audi’s 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit plus gauge display for all of the information.
Safety
Many driver-assistance features are standard on the 2026 A6 Allroad, including automatic emergency braking and lane-departure warning. Unfortunately, more advanced features like adaptive cruise control are optional on the Premium Plus and standard on the Prestige. Night vision is optional on both trims. Designed to provide safe family transportation, the A6 Allroad earned five stars from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Pricing and Release Date
As of this writing, pricing for the A6 Allroad starts at $73,100 for the Premium Plus, while the Prestige trim starts at $79,200. The high-end Bang & Olufsen is a pricey $4,900, but well worth it in our opinion. The 2026 A6 Allroad is available now.
