What’s New for the 2025 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid
Toyota made no changes to the RAV4 Hybrid for 2025. The 2023 model year brought significant updates to the SUV, including a new Woodland Edition and an updated infotainment system.
Design
The RAV4’s design has become boxier and beefier over the years, to the point that the SUV looks like a smaller version of the off-road-ready 4Runner. With seven Hybrid trims available, there are numerous wheel options, and the Woodland Edition offers exclusive bronze wheels that set it apart from the rest of the RAV4 catalog.
Powertrain
The 2025 RAV4 Hybrid comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a pair of electric motors that make a combined 219 horsepower and 252 pound-feet of torque. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) sends power to all four wheels. While the Hybrid isn’t the quickest in its segment, it’s noticeably livelier than its non-hybrid counterpart, and the ride quality remains smooth in most situations.

Interior
The five-seat RAV4 Hybrid comes standard with cloth upholstery and manual front-seat adjustments. Available interior features include synthetic leather, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, power front seat adjustments, and a driver’s seat memory system.
Technology
Toyota equips an 8-inch touchscreen and 7-inch digital gauge cluster as standard. The system includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and SiriusXM radio. A 10.5-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster are available, along with an 11-speaker audio system, wireless charging, ambient interior lighting, and more. Toyota improved its infotainment system in recent years, making it less clunky and far more intuitive. The interface is brighter, and new screens offer a much higher resolution, making them easier to see in any lighting conditions. Finally, the easier-to-use system is less distracting to operate while driving and makes changing quick settings like climate control temperatures much faster.
