What’s New for the 2025 Hyundai Palisade

The Palisade was first introduced for the 2020 model year. It received a mid-cycle styling refresh in 2023. For 2025, the XRT trim receives additional standard features, and the SEL Premium is no longer a package, and is now broken out as a separate trim.

Design

As Hyundai’s flagship vehicle, the Palisade has a commanding presence, dominated by a large, imposing grille, flanked by sleek LED lights. Trims for the Palisade are SE, SEL, SEL Premium, XRT, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night Edition. The SE and SEL come with 18-inch alloy wheels. All others come with 20-inch alloy wheels.

Powertrain

No matter what trim is selected, the 2025 Palisade comes equipped with a 3.8-liter V6 engine. It puts out 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through an eight-speed automatic transmission to the front wheels or available all-wheel drive (FWD or AWD). When properly equipped, the Palisade can tow up to 5,000 pounds.

The Palisade boasts a feature-laden and spacious interior that seats either seven or eight passengers based on trim selected. It provides up to 86.4 cubic feet of cargo space with the second-and-third rows folded. With the second row in use, there’s 45.8 cubic feet of cargo space, and with all seats upright, there’s 18 cubic feet behind the rear seats.

Standard features on the SE include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a push-button start. Other trims include upgrades such as synthetic leather or genuine leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and a hands-free power liftgate.

Technology

A 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system comes as standard equipment. It includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other standard tech features include a Wi-Fi hotspot and multiple USB ports. Upgraded trims include wireless device charging, an in-vehicle intercom system, a fully digital instrument panel, and a 12-speaker Harmon Kardon premium stereo.

Safety

Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, driver-attention monitoring, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, vehicle exit warning, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Available safety tech includes rain-sensing wipers, reverse automatic emergency braking, a 360-degree parking camera system, a blind-spot camera system, and Hyundai’s Smart Park remote parking system.

At the time of this writing, the 2025 Hyundai Palisade has a base MSRP of $37,100 for the SE trim. The SEL starts at $39,850, the XRT trim starts at $42,950, and the SEL Premium starts at $44,450. The Limited trim starts at $48,500, the Calligraphy starts at $50,900, and the Calligraphy Night starts at $54,400.
