Ford revived the iconic Bronco nameplate in 2021, bringing a new-but-retro-styled SUV to market that rivaled the beefy Jeep Wrangler. The Bronco is offered in two- and four-door configurations, and several trims and options are available, allowing buyers to make the vehicle their own.

What’s New for the 2025 Ford Bronco
The Bronco enters the 2025 model year with only one notable change: Ford introduced a new throwback Free Wheeling trim that features colorful 1970s graphics and styling. Based on the Big Bend trim, the SUV is available with the Sasquatch package, which brings upgraded suspension, beefier mud-terrain tires, and Bilstein shocks.
Design
If you squint, it’s not hard to imagine today’s Bronco roaming the trails in the 1970s. Its boxy shape, round headlights, and old-school grille design give it the look of a classic off-roader, though modern upgrades like LED daytime running lights and other features plant it firmly in the 21st century.
Powertrain
Ford offers two power options for the standard Bronco, while the separate Bronco Raptor gets a more powerful twin-turbo V6. The base engine is a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder making up to 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque on premium fuel. A twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 is available, making 330 horsepower and 415 pounds of torque on premium fuel. The Raptor’s twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 produces 418 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque. A seven-speed manual transmission comes standard in lower trims, but most get a 10-speed automatic, and four-wheel drive is standard.

Interior
The Bronco is available with a range of interior materials, colors, and configurations. Both body styles seat five people, but the four-door model offers more rear seat room, better legroom, and easier access to the second row. Cloth upholstery comes standard, but Ford offers vinyl, leather, and upgraded cloth, depending on the trim. Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are available.
Technology
Ford equips a 12-inch touchscreen and 12-inch digital gauge cluster as standard for 2025. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard, along with seven speakers, Bluetooth, SiriusXM, HD radio, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Ford’s Sync infotainment system is packed with great features and is easy to use while driving, making it less distracting. Wireless charging, extra USB ports, and a ten-speaker Bang and Olufsen stereo are available.
Safety
The 2025 Bronco is too new to have received complete crash-testing results from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), but its predecessor missed a Top Safety Pick award due to lackluster headlight scores. The SUV receives a few driver-assistance features by default, including automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, rear-seat alert, automatic headlights, and a rearview camera. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, pedestrian detection, lane-departure alert, lane-keep assist, rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, and other features are available.
Pricing and Release Date
Ford hasn’t provided pricing for the 2025 Bronco yet as of this writing, but expect an MSRP that starts at around $39,900 for the most basic configuration, ranging to the mid-$50,000 mark in top trims.
