For 2025, the Fiat lineup consists exclusively of the 500e electric hatchback. This subcompact car has few true rivals, among them the Nissan Leaf and Mini Cooper Electric.

What’s New for the 2025 Fiat 500e
Not much. The lineup for the all-new 2024 model was composed of a handful of limited editions, many of which are still new on the lots of Fiat’s dwindling dealership network. The 2025 release is slated to be a Giorgio Armani special edition, available exclusively in Ceramic Greige or Dark Green. However, halfway into 2025, pricing and availability still aren’t yet confirmed.
Design
Now in its second year, the Fiat 500e is familiar in the sense that it looks almost identical to the Fiat 500 that was discontinued in 2019; the 500e has few visual distinctions. At launch in 2024, the Fiat 500e came exclusively in “Inspired By” editions, each with its own color scheme. That continues for 2025, with the Giorgio Armani edition available in two colors. Overall, it’s a good-looking car, if on the cutesy side. Its LED lighting perfect for an EV, its 17-inch wheels nicely fill the wheel wells, and the big greenhouse lets in lots of light to make the most of its scant interior space.
Powertrain
The Fiat 500e isn’t the most powerful or efficient vehicle in its segment, though it’s great for city life. It combines a single electric motor with a 42-kWh battery pack for a combined output of 117 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. It takes about six hours on a Level 2 charger to max out its 149-mile estimated range, though it can get to 85% on a DC fast charger in just over half an hour. An 11-kW onboard charger comes standard.

Interior
As you’d expect, the Fiat 500e has a cozy cabin, offering just four seats. It’s welcoming, with cheerful design and lots of light, but it’s hardly a spacious family vehicle or carpool-friendly. Colors and materials are based on the edition’s theme, so we expect upscale embellishments for the 2025 Giorgio Armani edition, coordinated with the exterior’s green or greige finishes. The Fiat 500e has just 8.3 cubic feet of cargo space.
Technology
Stellantis fits the 500e with its well-liked Connect 5 infotainment interface. It’s logical and easy to use, with good standard features. A 7.0-inch digital gauge cluster and 10.3-inch touchscreen take up most of the cockpit’s visual real estate. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are included, capable of dual-phone connectivity, and wireless device charging also comes standard.
Safety
As of this writing, the Fiat 500e has not been evaluated for crashworthiness by either the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Standard safety features include a rearview camera, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warnings, lane-keeping assist, and rear parking sensors.

Pricing and Release Date
The 2025 Fiat 500e is not yet available, and as of this writing, Fiat isn’t exactly clear when it will be. Nor is Fiat particularly transparent about pricing. The brand’s website, as of this writing, is still focused on the 2024 500e, and those interested in the 2025 model are directed to a section for the Giorgio Armani edition featuring fashion-inspired photography and not much else. A search of Fiat dealerships in the Midwest showed no Fiat 500es in inventory, nor any way to order one.
