What’s New for the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette
For the 2025 model year, Chevrolet adds the range-topping ZR1 to the Corvette lineup. It boasts blistering acceleration and a host of track-ready performance upgrades.
Design
Thanks to its mid-engine layout, the Corvette has the presence of supercars that cost three times as much. It comes standard with 19-inch front wheels and 20-inch rear wheels. The roof is removable and easily stows in the cargo compartment behind the engine. The Corvette is also offered in the convertible body style.
The new Corvette ZR1 features an aggressive and functional flow-through hood, extensive use of carbon fiber, 20-inch front wheels, and 21-inch rear wheels. The ZR1 even has a split rear window, as an homage to the 1963 Stingray Corvette. It’s available with carbon fiber wheels, which reduces unsprung weight by over 42 pounds.
Powertrain
The standard engine in the Corvette is a 6.2-liter V8 that makes 490 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. Selecting the Z51 package ups the output to 495 horsepower. The Corvette Z06 comes equipped with a 5.5-liter flat-plane crank V8 that allows it to rev up to 8,500 rpm. It puts out 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. With the Z51 package, the Corvette will sprint from zero to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds.
The all-new Chevy Corvette ZR1 features a twin-turbocharged version of the 5.5-liter V8, putting out an incredible 1,064 horsepower and 828 pound-feet of torque. GM claims the ZR1 will do the quarter mile in under 10 seconds. It also has an estimated top speed in excess of 215 mph.

Interior
Standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, leather upholstery, and remote start. Upgraded trims provide features such as expanded leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, and heated and ventilated seats. The Corvette provides 12.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the front and rear cargo compartments. Upgraded performance models with the flow-through hood lose the front cargo space.
Technology
The 2025 Corvette comes equipped with a fully digital instrument panel and an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also comes standard with two USB ports, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a 10-speaker stereo. Available features include wireless device charging and a 14-speaker Bose premium stereo system.
Safety
Standard driver-assistance features for the 2025 Corvette include automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, rear parking sensors, and automatic high beams. Available safety tech includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a head-up display.
