What’s New for the 2025 Cadillac Lyriq
The Lyric was introduced in 2023 and has already received a number of updates for the 2025 model year. The base Tech trim has been discontinued, which means the Luxury trim is now the entry point. That means more standard features. The Luxury and Sport trims offered include more power and more range for the 2025 model year.
Design
The Lyriq has a bold, futuristic design, with a clean version of the Cadillac “shield” grille and a fastback design that blends coupe and sedan design traits into a crossover format. The Luxury and Sport trims come with 20-inch alloy wheels and are available with 22-inch alloy wheels. The Sport trim also features racier styling touches.
Powertrain
The standard battery across all versions of the 2025 Lyriq is a 108-kWh pack. The Lyriq is offered in a single-motor rear-wheel-drive (RWD) version and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) version. The RWD model makes 365 horsepower, and the AWD makes a combined 515 horsepower. The range for the single-motor variant tops out at 326 miles, while the dual-motor tops out at 307 miles. With DC fast charging, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% charge in about 45 minutes.

Interior
Standard features on the 2025 Lyriq include synthetic leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, and a fully glass roof. It also comes with a 126-color ambient cabin lighting system. Available features include Nappa leather upholstery, a wall-style power outlet, ventilated front seats, a front-seat massage function, and heated rear seats.
The Lyriq provides up to 60.8 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded. With the rear seats in use, you'll find 28 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, accessed via a standard power liftgate. A hands-free power liftgate is an available option.
Technology
The Lyriq’s dash is dominated by a massive 33-inch display that encapsulates a digital instrument panel and a touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. It also comes with wireless device charging, five USB ports, and a seven-speaker audio system. Shoppers can upgrade to an impressive 19-speaker AKG premium audio system.
Safety
The Lyriq comes equipped with a generous list of standard driver-assistance features. This includes automatic emergency braking, front and rear parking sensors, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, side cyclist detection, a 360-degree parking camera system, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. It also comes with GM’s Teen Driver system and Safety Alert Seat. The Lyriq is available with Super Cruise, which is a semi-autonomous highway driving system.
