What’s New for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V
The Escalade-V debuted for the 2023 model year and has followed the updates Cadillac introduced for the regular SUV. The only update for 2024 was the introduction of standard Super Cruise, but changes for 2025 are more substantial. They include revised exterior styling, a new available 24-inch wheel design, a larger touchscreen display, and additional interior color options.
Design
The Escalade-V doesn’t look radically different from its more sedate counterpart, but its large exhaust tips, loud “V” badging, and black exterior accents give hints that this isn’t a regular Escalade. Cadillac offers a few wheel options, including new options for 2025, and the latest Escalade design is slightly boxier and more modern looking than its predecessor.
Powertrain
Under the hood lies a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with a massive 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque. It’s paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. Beyond its ear drum-shattering sound (it hurts so good), the V offers blistering acceleration, taking just 4.4 seconds to reach 60 mph from a standstill. It also features magnetic shocks and adaptive air suspension, giving it the ability to shift from a smooth, comfortable ride to a stiffer, more performance-oriented experience.

Interior
Cadillac didn’t trade luxury for performance in the Escalade-V. It seats seven people on standard semi-aniline leather upholstery. Heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats are standard, along with a 16-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated second-row seats, and power-folding second- and third-row seats.
Technology
The regular Escalade has one of the most massive and impressive front display systems in the auto industry, and the V follows its lead. Cadillac equips three screens with a combined 38 inches of real estate: a 16.9-inch touchscreen, a 7.2-inch touch-based control screen, and a 14.2-inch digital gauge cluster. Additionally, the V gets an AKG Studio Reference stereo with 3 speakers, wireless smartphone mirroring, SiriusXM radio, navigation, HD radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless charging, and a rear-seat entertainment system with two screens.
Safety
The 2025 Escalade-V hasn’t received full crash-test results yet, but it comes standard with a long list of advanced driver-assist features. They include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts, adaptive cruise control, rear-seat alerts, a surround-view camera system, a head-up display, a parking assistance system, Super Cruise, lane-keep assist, safety vibrating seats, parking sensors, and much, much more.

Pricing and Release Date
As of the time of this writing, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V starts at a whopping $165,920, including a $2,195 destination charge. That makes the SUV one of the brand’s most expensive vehicles, but it justifies its price tag with staggering performance and ultimate luxury. It’s also important to note that when it comes to features, Cadillac throws everything and the kitchen sink at the SUV, and they’re all included in the base price.
