What’s New for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade

The Escalade receives a refresh for the 2025 model year. It features a larger grille, and its LED headlights are even slimmer than before. It also features updated taillights and some additional minor body adjustments. Inside, the Escalade gets an even larger infotainment screen and the addition of GM’s Super Cruise system as standard equipment.

Design

As mentioned, the Escalade now has sleeker headlights and a more modern presence. Trims for the Escalade are Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum, and Sport Platinum. For the 2025 model year, the SUV is now offered with 24-inch wheels, which are the largest ever available on the big Caddy.

Powertrain

The 2025 Escalade comes standard with a 6.2-liter V8 engine which puts out 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The previously available diesel six-cylinder engine has been dropped from the lineup for the 2025 model year. The gas V8 routes power through a 10-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels or available all-wheel drive (RWD or AWD). When properly equipped, the Escalade can tow up to 8,100 pounds.

EPA fuel-economy estimates for the RWD Escalade are 14 mpg city, 19 highway, and 16 combined. Selecting AWD results in fuel economy of 14 city, 18 highway, and 16 combined. The Escalade’s V8 requires premium fuel.
