What’s New for the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing
The CT5-V Blackwing features some subtle design changes for the 2025 model year, as well as a new, larger infotainment display. Living up to its name, the Blackwing’s rear spoiler is now painted black.
Design
The Blackwing’s updated front-end look includes extended verticle LED headlights, and the Cadillac signature shield grille is now wider. The CT5-V Blackwing comes standard with 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in high-performance tires.
Powertrain
The beating heart of the CT5-V Blackwing is its supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine. It churns out 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. A 10-speed automatic is optional. With the automatic, the Blackwing will sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. With the optional Carbon Fiber 1 Package, the Blackwing has an on-track top speed in excess of 200 mph. The CT5-V Blackwing features Brembo performance brakes at all four corners, as well as Magnetic Ride Control and launch control. The Blackwing’s handling can be further enhanced with carbon ceramic cross-drilled brake rotors. The Blackwing’s sport steering wheel includes an integrated drive-mode dial and a V-Mode button.
Whether you select the manual or automatic transmission, the CT5-V Blackwing returns EPA fuel economy estimates of 13 mpg city, 20 highway, and 15 combined. This powertrain requires premium fuel.

Interior
Standard features on the 2025 CT5-V Blackwing include semi-aniline leather seats, 18-way power-adjustable front seats, heated and ventilated front seats, and massaging front seats. It also comes with a 126-color LED ambient interior lighting system, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Blackwing is available with upgraded performance bucket seats or available carbon fiber bucket seats.
The CT5-V Blackwing provides 12 cubic feet of trunk space. A hands-free trunk release is available.
Technology
The 2025 CT5-V Blackwing features Cadillac’s new 33-inch digital display, which spans about two thirds of the dash. This combines the fully digital instrument panel and the Google-based touchscreen infotainment system into a single panel. It comes standard with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless device charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a 16-speaker AKG premium stereo system. A high-performance data recorder is an available feature.
Safety
Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking, pedestrian and cyclist detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist. The '25 CT5-V Blackwing also comes with blind-zone steering assist, rear cross-traffic braking, traffic-sign recognition, driver-attention assist, and tire pressure monitoring. If you select the 10-speed automatic transmission, it makes available GM’s Super Cruise semi-autonomous highway-driving assistant. It’s also available with a head-up display.
