The 2025 Buick Envision sits in the luxury compact SUV segment, and it is well-priced when you compare it to the Acura RDX, Cadillac XT4, Lexus NX, and Lincoln Corsair. It is currently in its second generation, and it was last redesigned in 2021. The Envision is available in three trims for the 2025 model year: Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenir.

What’s New for the 2025 Buick Envision
The 2025 Buick Envision is largely a carry-over model since it had a mild refresh in 2024. You do get some new paint colors, and remote start is now standard on all trims. The 2025 model year also brings more standard safety tech, including advanced adaptive cruise control, enhanced automatic emergency braking, intersection automatic emergency braking, and side bicyclist alert.
Design
The 2025 Buick Envision falls in line with the Buick family exterior styling, which includes the trapezoidal grille and checkmark-shaped headlights. Each trim gets its own distinct flavor that goes from competently luxurious with nice accents to sporty with blacked-out trimmings to downright bougie with bright chrome and bigger wheels. The Preferred trim comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, and the upper two trims are equipped with 20s.
Powertrain
The 2025 Buick Envision comes with a single powertrain option: a 228-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo charged engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive (AWD) is also standard. The EPA estimates 451 miles on a single tank of gas with fuel economy ratings ringing in at 22 mpg city, 28 highway, and 24 combined. Additionally, the Envision can tow up to 1,500 pounds when properly equipped.

Interior
The 2025 Buick Envision offers seating for up to five passengers, with a maximum cargo capacity of 52.7 cubic feet behind the first row. It comes standard with leatherette seating surfaces and up-level amenities such as eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, rear air vents, adaptive cruise control, and automatic climate control. Available amenities include a power panoramic moonroof, heated seats and steering wheel, leather seats, massaging driver’s seat, and dual automatic climate control.
Technology
The 2025 Envista is chock full of tech, with the most obvious being the 30-inch ultra-wide screen that houses the gauge cluster and infotainment screen. Standard tech features include ambient lighting, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Google Built-In, wireless charging, 360-degree camera views, and a head-up display. Available tech includes a hands-free power liftgate, Sirius XM Radio, ventilated front seats, and a rear camera mirror.
Safety
With the addition of more standard safety features, the 2025 Buick Envista essentially comes standard with the whole shebang. In addition to the new standard features mentioned previously, the Envista also includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic reverse braking. For 2025, the Envista earns "Good" crash-test ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) but misses a Top Safety Pick award because it hasn’t undergone the new moderate front overlap test yet.

Pricing and Release Date
As of this writing, Buick lists the base price as $37,895 for the Preferred trim. Sport Touring and Avenir ring in at $40,395 and $47,595, respectively. Because the Envista is one of those what-you-see-is-what-you-get kind of vehicles, there aren’t a lot of packages or options. In fact, the only package is the Comfort and Convenience Package ($1,350), available on the bottom two trims. These two trims also make the panoramic moonroof available at $1,495. It’s also worth noting, every paint color except white is a premium option. The 2025 Buick Envista is in dealers now.
