What’s New for the 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron

The Q6 e-tron is an all-new vehicle for 2025. The SUV sits in Audi’s lineup between the Q4 and Q8 e-tron models, and it offers a high-tech interior, strong performance, and an available Sportback trim that takes styling to the next level-at the expense of some practicality.

Design

The Q6 e-tron is somewhat reminiscent of the gas-powered Q5, but it has the brand’s now-signature front-end EV look, with a closed grille and large air intakes. Audi incorporated unique creasing and sculpted body elements on the sides, giving the Q6 an aggressive look in profile. Like the Q5, its roof slopes downward toward the rear of the vehicle, which looks great from the outside but can cut into interior headroom.

Powertrain

The base configuration for 2025 uses a single electric motor making 322 horsepower. Audi also offers a dual-motor setup with 456 horsepower and all-wheel drive (AWD), and some variants come with adaptive air suspension. A higher-performance SQ6 e-tron will be available, offering a massive horsepower boost to 510 ponies.

Interior

The Q6 e-tron’s cabin is packed with tech and has an ultra-modern design. Audi offers a range of material and color options, and the front seats appear to offer spacious accommodations with great ergonomics and outward visibility. Cargo space and rear-seat space take a hit from the SUV’s exterior shape, but the cabin is much nicer than expected.

Technology

Audi equips an 11.9-inch digital gauge cluster and a 14.5-inch touchscreen in the newest e-tron. Apple CarPlay is standard, along with Bluetooth, voice commands, SiriusXM, HD radio, multiple USB inputs, and more. The automaker’s infotainment interface offers a generally easy-to-use layout, and the high-resolution displays make interacting with the vehicle a pleasurable experience. Though there are few physical buttons, the system’s relative simplicity makes it less stressful to use while driving. Audi offers a 10.9-inch touchscreen on the passenger side, and it features a unique filter that blocks the driver’s view while the vehicle is in motion.

Safety

The new Q6 e-tron has not yet seen crash-testing as of this writing, but Audi promises a load of standard driver-assistance tech. The list includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, and lane-departure alert. Available features include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and more.
