What’s New for the 2025 Audi Q4 e-tron
Audi made the Technology Package standard for the 2025 Q4 e-tron, and both electric powertrains gained more power and range. There’s also a new Cold Weather package available for the top 55 models.
Design
The Q4 e-tron’s look edges on the Q5’s styling, but it’s a more sculpted SUV with deeply carved sides and tasteful chrome accents. Audi offers a few wheel designs depending on the trim level, and all get a prominent grille with aggressive lower venting and slim headlights.
Powertrain
Two electric powertrains are available for 2025. The base configuration includes one electric motor with 282 horsepower, while the dual-motor configuration boosts output to 335 horsepower. The SUV’s zero-60-mph time drops as low as 5.4 seconds with the upgraded powertrain and all-wheel drive (AWD). While neither configuration makes the Q4 thrilling to drive, the more powerful option is a better choice in most situations, and the addition of AWD helps get that power to the ground while improving traction and handling. While Audi does not offer a one-pedal driving mode in the Q4, the EV carries the brand’s signature sharp handling and smooth ride quality.

Interior
Audi advertises the Q4 e-tron as a five-seater, but it’s better suited to carrying four passengers. Three across in the back seat will feel cramped thanks to modest legroom. Some may find the seats to be a little firmer than expected, but everyone enjoys nicely supportive seats with good space in the front.
Technology
An 11.6-inch touchscreen comes standard on the 2025 Q4 e-tron, along with a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster running Audi’s excellent Virtual Cockpit system. Wireless smartphone mirroring comes standard, along with Bluetooth, USB inputs, navigation, ambient LED interior lighting, and more. Audi’s touchscreen interface is responsive, and the display offers crisp graphics that are easily visible from both front seats.
Safety
The 2025 Q4 e-tron hasn’t been crash-tested yet, but it should perform close to the high standard set by its predecessor, which earned a Top Safety Pick from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Audi equips a long list of standard features to increase peace of mind, which include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, and more.

Pricing and Release Date
As of the time of this writing, the 2025 Audi Q4 e-tron starts at $49,800. The Sportback, which offers a sleeker roofline at the expense of practicality, starts at $58,200. Audi also offers a range of added-cost upgrades that can make both variants significantly more expensive.
