What’s New for the 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L
The major change for this year’s version of the Grand Wagoneer L is the discontinuation of the V8 engine offering. It has been replaced by a potent six-cylinder turbocharged engine.
Design
The 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L has a commanding exterior design, with a tall, boxy layout that spans nearly 19 feet long. Trims for the Grand Wagoneer L are Base, Obsidian, Series III, and Series III Obsidian. The base Grand Wagoneer L features 20-inch wheels. The Obsidian trim features unique blacked-out styling and larger 22-inch wheels. The Series III trim also comes with 22-inch wheels.
Powertrain
The Grand Wagoneer L comes equipped with a twin-turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine that makes 510 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through an eight-speed automatic transmission to Jeep’s Quadra-Drive II four-wheel-drive (4WD) system with an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential. When properly equipped, the Grand Wagoneer L can tow up to 7,930 pounds.
Fuel economy estimates for the 2024 Grand Wagoneer L are 14 mpg city, 20 mpg highway, and 17 mpg combined. The Grand Wagoneer L requires premium fuel.

Interior
The Grand Wagoneer L's expansive interior has seating for seven or eight passengers, depending on the configuration chosen. It comes standard with leather upholstery, heated first- and second-row seats, and a heated steering wheel. The front seats also come with ventilation and massage functions as standard.
Other standard features include quad-zone automatic climate control and a wall-style power outlet. Upgraded trims include features such as Palermo premium leather upholstery, ventilated rear seats, and a front console cooler.
With all rear seats folded, the Grand Wagoneer L provides up to 112.9 cubic feet of cargo space, and it comes standard with a hands-free power liftgate. Power-folding second- and third-row seats also make it easier to access this cargo space.
Technology
The 2024 Grand Wagoneer L boasts eight USB ports, a 19-speaker stereo system, and wireless device charging, as well as a fully digital instrument panel and a 12-inch touch-screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Available tech features include a front-passenger-side infotainment screen, a rear-seat entertainment system, and a 23-speaker McIntosh premium stereo system.
Safety
The 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L is equipped with a comprehensive suite of standard driver-assistance features. These include automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and pedestrian and cyclist detection.
Additional standard features include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a 360-degree parking camera system, front and rear parking sensors, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, and a head-up display.
In addition to those standard features, a digital rearview mirror, driver-attention monitoring, night-vision assist, and traffic-sign recognition are optional.
