What’s New for the 2024 Jaguar F-Type
For the F-Type’s last hurrah, Jaguar shuffled the trim lineup, leaving only three choices. Even so, the remaining models gained more standard features, and the F-Type retains its V8 option, which delivers stunning performance and a breathtaking sound.
Design
Available as a coupe or convertible, the F-Type is a low-slung, two-door sports car with a swept-back look and striking lines. It features a large grille, slim headlights, and a long hood that sweeps down toward the front of the car. All models ride on 20-inch wheels, though the designs vary between trim levels.
Powertrain
All three 2024 F-Type models get a 5.0-liter supercharged V8. The R-Dynamic and 75 models have 444 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of torque, while the top R75 sees 575 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque from the same engine. Both mills come paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Most models are rear-wheel-drive (RWD), but some are available with all-wheel drive (AWD).
There is not a slow F-Type in the bunch, and the roaring V8 makes the car feel quick even when the driver isn’t trying. That said, the R75’s 575 horsepower makes it significantly more thrilling to drive than its stablemates, and the automatic transmission does a good job at keeping the engine working hard.

Interior
The two-seat F-Type features standard leather and suede upholstery, with power-adjustable heated seats and a heated steering wheel. Optional features include Windsor leather, sport seats, ventilation, and more. The interior isn’t roomy; many taller people will feel cramped in either seat. That’s not far off the mark for many other vehicles in the class, but the F-Type’s cabin offers subpar visibility, and there is not enough noise insulation.
Technology
While Jaguar updated the Pivi Pro infotainment system in some models for 2024, the F-Type is a notable exception. The interface feels old, and it’s clunkier and less responsive than most competing systems. It runs on a 10-inch touchscreen, and Jag also equips a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Other standard tech includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, a 10-speaker Meridian sound system, and more.
Safety
As a relatively low-volume sports car, the F-Type doesn’t receive crash-testing like many more mainstream models do. Jaguar does equip a decent list of safety tech, however, including automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, traffic-sign recognition, automatic wipers, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, driver-attention monitoring, and parking sensors.

Pricing and Release Date
Pricing for the 2024 Jaguar F-Type starts at $79,175, and a convertible version is available for $81,175. The mid-range 75 starts at $91,175, and the top R75 starts at $114,275.
