What’s New for the 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor
The Bronco Raptor carries over mostly unchanged for the 2024 model year, except for some new exterior color and accent package options. The Bronco Raptor was added to the Bronco lineup for 2022 and hasn’t yet really needed any upgrades, even though Ford has made some tweaks to the rest of the trim ladder over the years.
Design
Though the Bronco is available in two- and four-door variants, the Raptor comes only in the latter configuration. Upgrades are substantial, both structurally and aesthetically. Underneath, the Raptor gets a reinforced frame and cabin, heavy-duty skid plates, heavy-duty bumpers, and an adaptive suspension system with a taller ride height than other Bronco models. Big fender flares give the SUV an aggressive stance, and chunky 17-inch alloy wheels come fitted with all-terrain tires.
Powertrain
The Bronco Raptor features a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine with 418 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque. An upgraded four-wheel-drive (4WD) system and the Bronco’s G.O.A.T. (goes over any terrain) selectable driving mode system come standard, along with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Raptor requires premium fuel and has EPA ratings of 15 mpg city, 16 mpg highway.

Interior
The Bronco Raptor’s cabin is sporty and well designed, but functional above all else. It comes with marine-grade vinyl seats but is available with leather upholstery. Other standard features include heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a storage bag for the roof panels, wireless device charging, and floor mats with Raptor motifs. The Bronco Raptor’s cargo area measures 35.6 cubic feet, opening up to a maximum of 77.6 cubic feet with the rear seats folded.
Technology
The 2024 Bronco Raptor doesn’t provide or offer much in the way of upgraded tech features beyond the rest of the Bronco lineup. It comes standard with a 12-inch touch screen infotainment system, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, and voice recognition.
Safety
Ford equips the 2024 Bronco Raptor with a 360-degree camera system, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, a blind-spot monitoring system, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beams. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has not fully crash-tested the 2024 Ford Bronco, though four-door versions did earn four out of five stars in the frontal crash test and three out of five stars in the rollover test. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) awarded the Bronco the highest rating of Good in all four crash tests it conducted. However, note that these results are for the base Bronco, and the Bronco Raptor has not been tested separately.
