Love it! I researched this car for almost 2 years before making the purchase. Compared it to the Explorer, and Grand Cherokee L, Great handling for a car this size. Very roomy without feeling bulky. It also has a classier feel than some others in its size category.!

I love how much space there is for the 3rd row. With 3 growing boys and 2 still needing to be in harness booster it is why I chose the atlas over highlander or 4runner with 3rd row. Even moving the 2nd row up to have space in the 3rd row is still roomy. With backpacks and diaper bag, extra floor space is a big necessity for me. I have been looking at the Atlas for a year. Im extremely happy I finally chose one. I also love i can still fit my graco stroller behind the 3rd row. Its not the full size or the smallest one. It still has the bottom carry space if that helps any other moms decide.

2021 Volkswagen Atlas 3.6L SE 4Motion AWD with Technology Review
Cyrus F says:
Overall vw did a good job on the Atlas but there is still much work to do to make it better and to make it number one! For one this vehicle needs more engine and transmission options. Also the interior and seat design needs much improvements..feels very cheap for all the money spent. Very much under powered engine..needs a 425 hp option and a ten speed automatic transmission option. The ride is absolutely horrible over slightly rough roads No Fog lights???? Please tell me why did vw remove the fog lights? And lastly Ill say that this vehicle should not be a fwd based vehicle. In fact it should have been built a rear wheel drive based vehicle with one 4-cylnder option two V6 Engine options 3.0 and 3.6 and one V8 Engine option 5.0 or 6.2L one foot longer in the rear trunk area one foot taller and one foot wider. Also please add 50% more sound deadening material all over..as this vehicle is very noisy! And those side window shades in the second row..get rid of those noisy things! Next let me speak on how cheaply VW built this vehicle..No Im not speaking about the price as this vehicle is not cheap! But how VW cut corners using very cheap material in the interior and exterior. This is the very first VW product I have ever purchased..Ive owned it 30 days now and its been in the dealership shop twice. For $45,000 I could have done so much better. Well Im stuck with this vehicle for at least the next 24-36 months before I can trade out of it. Its not a horrible vehicle at all..but for the money I spent...I certainly could have done a lot better and got a lot more for my money.
