Known for decades as an affordable, reliable, efficient, and practical compact sedan, the redesigned 2020 Toyota Corolla adds “stylish” and “enjoyable” to that list of attributes.
If ever a car was to be described as an appliance, the Toyota Corolla was it. Cheap to buy, dependable as a sunrise, thrifty with fuel, and roomy enough for a frugal family, the Corolla faithfully delivered its owners to their destinations without a hint of fuss... or emotion. That changes with the redesigned 2020 Toyota Corolla, which adds a sense of style and a bit of thrill to its longstanding mission.

What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 2020 Toyota Corolla are very pleased with their purchase. They appreciate the excellent fuel economy, reliable performance, and modern safety features included in the car. Many also highlighted its stylish design and good value for the price. On the downside, some drivers mentioned that the sound insulation could be improved and that the back legroom is a bit tight, with others noting that the comfort of the seats could be better during long drives."
FAN-FRIGGING-TASTIC!!! I absolutely love this car! It drives great! Very smooth! Thank you, Lord! :)
May 11, 2026The 2020 Toyota Corolla SE has been a delight. Great styling inside and out. Moden features and the safety technology is what sold us on this car.
April 1, 2022I bought a 2020 Toyota Corolla LE and owned it for about a year and a half. It rides smooth, has great safety features, and is amazing with gas mileage. I was averaging a combined 36.7mpg everywhere I went. I’ve never owned a vehicle so new, so getting used to the fancy new cruise control that matches the speed of the vehicle in front of you took some getting used to. The lane assist was a really cool feature! However, I live in the desert of New Mexico, so if the sun hits the road just right, it’ll bounce off the painted stripes and make it unrecognizable to the sensors. Other than that, it’s a great feature! For a compact car, it has enough space for a single person or a family of two or three. Spacious cargo bay! The leg room is a little tight in the back, especially if the driver or passenger scoots back a little. That being said, I was hoping the seats would be a little more comfy being a 2020 model. Kinda stiff and not super comfortable for 1hr+ rides. Not bad, but could be better. All in all, this is a great car with great safety features that I would recommend to anyone, even a new driver thanks to the warning systems aboard! Love it.

November 25, 2021It is a manual transmission. I was searching for the S PLUS model but since they were discontinued, I saw that this model was similar (smart key/push button starter) That is a plus, you will never lock your car with the keys inside. Mainly (the manual Transmission) I have been driving manual transmission for over 30 years, I wish they would never stop making them. I am very impressed with Corollas because of there reliability. The prevoius 3 vehicles all have been Corollas Manual Transmission, the last one was a 2015 S PLUS model I purchased in February 2018 with 54K miles on it. It currently has 391K and I never had a break down or been stranded, not even the clutch, all Ive done was change the oil every 5K, tires, battery, breaks, shocks and struts when needed. Corolla is an excellent reliable vehicle.
March 2, 2023Good design, practical, attractive, reliable. Surprising amount of technology for this price point. A bit loud on the road, it could use some added sound deadening. But for around town it’s just fine. All in all, very satisfied with this car.
April 17, 2022Just bought it but like it so far. Already own a 2018 that has had zero problems. was shopping for Civics and Corollas and found the Civics to be more expensive for comparable vehicles. I think the Civic is better looking but reliability was my priority. I believe Toyotas have a slight edge there. I think we got a fair deal. What else can you ask for?
March 29, 2023I like this car even better than I thought I would! The features are very up to date and the car is clean. I got a really good deal for this car considering the mileage and condition.
March 12, 2023Car feels good, it looks good and was an overall satisfactory purchase. Fuel efficiency averages about 6L/100km and I do mostly highway with it, which is right on the mark that it was advertised. The reason I am deducting a star is due to the cost of a second key fob. These things are 500$, which is completely unjustifiable no matter what lies they want to peddle. The fob is not more complex than my cell phone and the fact it costs twice as much is very disappointing.
August 1, 2022After driving a 2008 Corolla for 14 years the 2020 Corolla has some really useful additions (back up camera, handsfree phone, automatic high beams, etc.) but is missing some of the creature comforts I was used to in the older car (coin caddy, central panel holder for sun glasses and pens, armrest double storage for tissues and the ability to fold down the back seats for a FLAT space to put large items (new car has a 6 inch difference between trunk floor and back of seats!)) I wish I could combine the best features of both cars.
October 3, 2022Just purchased the car after renting it and fell in love with it it’s a great car all around. And for gas!!?? Once full OMG you won’t have to fill it up for 3 or 4 days. Well worth the price definitely a car that will last a life time.
