2018 Mitsubishi Mirage SE Review
SteveGreat333 says:
I bought this car for the value and fuel economy. It gets near 38 mpg in the city and a better mpg near 48 in the country on long smooth winding roads. The near 48mpg on the country drives is why I bought it. When working in past I enjoyed a different car and only got near 30mpg so this car will be valued for swing on gas. It is pint sized and quick to react. Steering is better than my old Saturn Ion. This car reminds me of older model Ford Escorts that had only slightly more horsepower for the highway. Be careful on winding roads as your mirror cover top may fly off as weight in car stresses it a bit.

Power Ranked 2020 Subaru Outback Premier AWD better.
"It has more horsepower and more torque for handling and cruising on any road. The engine is massive compared to the 1.2 liter Mitsubishi engine with 89 horsepower."
Handling Ranked 2020 Subaru Outback Premier AWD better.
"The suspension is designed to handle the vehicle like it is a larger station wagon."
Looks/Style Ranked 2020 Subaru Outback Premier AWD better.
"It is longer and has classier styling with plastic trim all along wheel wells and bottom sides of the vehicle. The front and back ends have more tougher looking plastic to protect itself."
Front Seats Ranked 2020 Subaru Outback Premier AWD better.
"Leather seats padded very well for a tall person weighing over 220 pounds. The seats are so well defined that you do not want to leave the drivers seat! If you could access television on front center screen you could relax and kick back on work breaks away from a noisy break station and have a restful nap."
Back Seats Ranked 2020 Subaru Outback Premier AWD better.
"There is a lot a room in back area of the Subaru. The Mitsubishi Mirage has very little room."
Cargo Capacity Ranked 2020 Subaru Outback Premier AWD better.
"The back seating plan allows for some sort of space that is at least 3x bigger for the Subaru Outback as compared to the much smaller Mitsubishi Mirage."
Family Car Ranked 2020 Subaru Outback Premier AWD better.
"Four people can fit into the Subaru much more easily than in any Mitsubishi Mirage. Leather seating option is much more classy and comfortable for longer drives. The soundproofing is there in the Subaru but not in the Mitsubishi."
Value Ranked 2020 Subaru Outback Premier AWD worse.
"The cost is about 1/2 of what I compared. The center screen for electronics is small yet can connect to about the same Apple Play or Google Play. Radio is a fine one for such a small car. Lighting and basic features like wipers work very well and tires and suspension grip the road very well in the country."
Would Buy Ranked 2020 Subaru Outback Premier AWD worse.
"I might buy either depending on the budget for a ten year period. The Mitsubishi is not a good car on any highway, yet it will get at least two people there. The Subaru is such a smooth drive on highway it is great for traveling on any highway and for longer drives to the coast. The Mitsubishi simply saves on gas as it can get up to 50 mpg in my experience."

No get up and go. The automatic was jerky and did not handle well. The manual was a little better, but all in all not fun to drive at all. Does have amazing gas mileage, though.
