Overall:

Id compare this car to a Crosstrek. It feels solid and responsive has enough room for an adult passenger with a car seat in the back. Its a great value for the price which may be why I had trouble finding one that fit me. The crash ratings are also reassuring. The sport mode gives you some nice boost when/if needed and makes everything feel better while on the road. The lane assist is taking a little bit to get used to as it nudges steering to keep within the lines.

2018 Hyundai Kona Ultimate AWD Review
David says:
Great value, hits a niche sweet spot in the subcompact SUV market. Great ride, and the 175 HP turbo has plenty of puch to make it a fun ride, too. Cant wait to see how this baby does in the snow with its AWD.

Power Ranked 2018 Nissan Kicks SV FWD worse.
"Kona has more horsepower, plain and simple. The available sport mode helps as well."
Handling Ranked 2018 Nissan Kicks SV FWD worse.
"Kona just felt like it held better to the road. Plus, with the option of all-wheel drive, this is a no brainer."
Looks/Style Ranked 2018 Nissan Kicks SV FWD better.
"This is subjective and was really a very close call. I honestly prefer the body styling of the Kona better, but the color options of the Kicks. My wife was the deciding factor and it leaned slightly in the Kicks favor."
Front Seats Ranked 2018 Nissan Kicks SV FWD better.
"The seats in the Kicks feel like they would be more comfortable for longer trips, but they were both pretty close."
Family Car Ranked 2018 Nissan Kicks SV FWD better.
"Kicks has more cargo space and slightly larger passenger space. "
Would Buy Ranked 2018 Nissan Kicks SV FWD worse.
"The Kona feels like a more complete vehicle. All-wheel drive also puts it in a different class in my opinion. With the Kicks coming out towards the end of the 2018 model year, it makes me feel like it was rushed to market to compete with the Soul and the Kona."

2018 Hyundai Kona Limited FWD Review
We decided on the Kona. The turbo is a cool feature to have and it gives the car some nice kick. Also the interior is very well crafter, feels as if you were driving a more luxurious car.

Cargo Capacity Ranked 2018 Nissan Kicks SV FWD worse.
"Big enough for me. "
Value Ranked 2018 Nissan Kicks SV FWD worse.
"Overall the Kona has very nice extra features and the leather interior gives you that luxurious feeling. Pretty cool gadgets like the change lane assistant makes it worth it for those more technologically inclined."
