It was disgusting inside. Smelled like puke. We opened the doors and then promptly left.

We are a family of 8. We are so excited to have this van. It gives the family plenty of space. All the kids love it. My wife loves driving it. It is really easy to see the road and plenty of power for the hills we drive in middle Tennessee. We highly recommend this van!

Handling Ranked 2017 Ford Transit Passenger 350 XLT Low Roof LWB RWD with Sliding Passenger-Side Door better.
"Its hard to rank the 2017 over the 2017, when the most important difference to us was getting a sliding door. I work with a friend that has the 60/40 doors and have heard about getting blocked in where they could not open those doors or have the fear of hitting a vehicle next to them opening those doors. We wound up getting the 2017 just because it had the sliding door. I liked the silver color of the 2016 that we were looking at. The seat material seemed to be better int he 2017 White Ford Transit 350 xlt. They both dove about the same."
Value Ranked 2017 Ford Transit Passenger 350 XLT Low Roof LWB RWD with Sliding Passenger-Side Door better.
"Sliding door!"

We’ve had the 1 ton Chevy Express and it rode very rough, like a hay wagon. The 1 ton Ford Transit rode much smoother and still handled well. I felt like it was underpowered with the V6 but was pleasantly surprised that it was adequately responsive to accelerating. I would be concerned it would work excessively hard if loaded down. I would love to try the turbo diesel version. We loved the seating. So thankful they offer it with the 60/40 side doors because we just don’t like sliding side doors. Was also impressed that the motor was fairly accessible for maintenance. That is critical for us. Driver and passenger side windows are somewhat funky - only part of the window opens. I could get used to that. We have seriously considered buying.

Handling Ranked 2016 Chevrolet Express 3500 2LS Extended RWD better.
"Probably because the Chevy Express is so rigid and rough riding it handled better in curves and in emergency conditions. With good tires with stiff sidewalls it drove like a sports car in the curves. "
Family Car Ranked 2016 Chevrolet Express 3500 2LS Extended RWD worse.
"Smoother ride. Easy to get in and out of."

Not bad but too hard to find an ecoboost version for a reasonable price. Biggest downside came from anothet familys review that rearfacing carseats would not fit in second row.
