2016 BMW 2 Series Review
says:
The 2 series handles very well. The steering is very crisp with good feedback. The car feels very firmly planted on the road. The seats are the most comfortable in my opinion, as compared to the Audi S4, S5 and A7. The engine sound, power and smoothness are much better than average. The car is a blast to drive. The drawback of this car is the options nickel and dime you to death. The car gets pricey if you want all of the options.

Front Seats Ranked 2016 Audi A4 worse.
"The seat padding and adjustable side bolsters and adjustable lumbar support let the driver customize the fit."
Value Ranked 2016 Audi A4 worse.
"The reliability is much better than average on the BMW. The handling is noticeably better and the service offered is exceptional (Maintenance for 4 years or 50K)."

2016 BMW 2 Series M235i xDrive Coupe AWD Review
says:
Tight handling and serious power make this AWD car a winner. Compared to other turbo systems the BMW M235i xDrive feels like it has power available at all times. The transmission is clean and near instantaneous when using the paddle shifter. Its a blast to drive in sport mode whether you control the shift or let the automatic do the work. The only drawback here is no manual transmission option in the AWD model, come on BMW! It is a bit small to be a family car, but perfect for the daily commute and joy ride. If you are in a cold climate, definitely look for the cold weather package with heated steering, mirrors, and headlight washers. The only missing piece of luxury is air cooled seating. The iDrive system isnt the most intuitive but gets the job done. If you are looking for an entry level sporty coupe with AWD, I recommend you take a look at the BMW M235i xDrive.

Looks/Style Ranked 2016 Volkswagen Golf R 4-Door with DCC and Navigation worse.
"Styling makes this one of the most desireable BMWs in the lineup. It is not the same boring design seen over and over. Definitely a sporty look. "
Would Buy Ranked 2016 Volkswagen Golf R 4-Door with DCC and Navigation worse.
"Power and tight handling wrapped in Luxury cant be beat. Only drawback is lack of manual transmission. "
