This car is very disapointing. Feels like your driving a toy car.

Its Cute And Managable In Tight Spaces — I like it but need a bigger car. It is fun to drive, the accerlation and ride is very smooth. And also the handling easier coming from a big truck to this compact one. The cost to fill the tank ran no more than $30 at a price of $3.60 ish a gallon very reasonable.

Pros: Car is comfortable and love the adjustable up and down of the drivers seat.

Cons: No negatives at all

Cool And Simple. A Joy To Ride For A Good Price. — I loved the look, which was the reason I bought it. Its simple and clean and has a lot of space inside. Air con works great and quickly cools the car down, acceleration is fine and stering and comfort while driving is just easy.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Car drives amazing. It seems small at first but a lot of space inside and it feels comfortable driving. Everything is very simple and its just a joy able ride.

Cons: Have no comments on that one

Awesome — Great car and gas mileage for the money. Comfortable ride and pretty quiet ride. Seats 5 comfortably. Overall great jeep!!! Drove to Texas with no problems. Reliable and very family friendly. Holds lots of cargo and luggage. Drives well in the mountains. Would recommend this vehicle to someone.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great gas mileage and great SUV for the money

Cons: Little underpowered for me

Still learning the drive from a Ford engine with 6 cylinder. Ultimately fair drive and plenty of space

Cargo Capacity Ranked 2020 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 4WD worse.
"The Patriot has more interior space, it is wider, has more leg room in front and back seats, and more storage behind the bench row seats which also fold down for more storage. The Patriot sits higher, therefore can carry heavier weight than the Renegade. "
Family Car Ranked 2020 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 4WD worse.
"More space for hauling kids around and the family dog or just their stuff. The Renegade is bit more fun car, good for singles, young couples just starting out, more adventurous type - better gas mileage, the 4WD gives the Renegade a slightly sportier car."
2014 Jeep Patriot Limited Review
Anthony says:
This wasnt my first choice for a Jeep brand vehicle but I am happy I made the choice. It handles well, feels & sounds as rugged as I like, has plenty of cargo, and I feel secure in knowing how safe it is to drive. The gas mileage isnt bad either.

Handling Ranked 2016 RAM 1500 SLT Crew Cab RWD better.
"I honestly cant give a determination on why the Ram 1500 handles better than the Jeep Patriot, other than the ride is smoother and turns are easier. I live in a hilly area and I drive through mountainous & hilly terrain when traveling from the South East to Illinois and the drive, handles & all, is significantly better."
Cargo Capacity Ranked 2016 RAM 1500 SLT Crew Cab RWD better.
"There is simply more room and versatility when comparing the Ram 1500 to the Jeep Patriot. A considerable difference is a truck bed verses SUV cargo when it comes to weather. Ram is better suited for calm, non-inclement weather."

2014 Jeep Patriot Limited 4WD Review
grantmeg says:
Jeep Patriot feels far more sturdy and safer on the road by far. It has much more off road and snow capability with ability to go from AWD to locking 4X4 drive & ground clearance. Recently, we were hit head on at higher speed by a Subaru wagon. The Jeep held up well, only pushed the front end into just touching the radiator - the Subaru was destroyed all the way to their windshield. No contest
