Fun To Drive Around Town And For Trips Of Less Than 100 Miles. —

Great looking mid-sized car, very good performance (328HP), very good handling and cornering, comfortable for around town and shorter trips, nice sounding audio system - Satellite stations were very clear and had a good mix of treble, mid-ranges and bass, driving mode selector was great for longer/highway trips to increase fuel mileage. If you've had a car with a key fob that allows you to unlock your doors by pushing a button on the handle, the Q will take a little getting used to. Just touching the handle unlocks the driver's door, then pushing the button unlocks the rest - however if you push the button at the wrong time (maybe when not touching the door) it can lock the doors when you think it's unlocking the doors. So, just grab the handle, then push the button. Seems simple but I somehow kept locking all the doors for the first couple of days. As said, fun to drive, was reliable, comfortable and nicely designed, inside and out. Worth a try if you're in the market for a mid-sized four door - you'll be surprised by the performance vs the price when comparing to a BMW, Audi or Benz. Hope you enjoy it!

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Very peppy
    Great handling
    Comfortable seating
    Impressive looking interior
Drive mode selector - ECO, Standard, Sport, Snow
Door sensing unlock - no need to press the button to unlock driver's door
Push button start - no need to remove the key fob from your pocket
Single touch lane changing signal (touch once, it blinks 3 times for you)
    Nice sized trunk

Cons: Stiff ride compared to the larger M (expected but noted for those considering downsizing)
    No option for ventilated seats
Entertainment systems take a while to "boot" when you start the car
Voice recognition software didn't like my voice at all - couldn't use it for simple directions
Back up camera gets blocked by water when it's raining
