I read consumer reviews on older Land Rivers and GL-350 Mercedes and was surprised at the responses. Run dont walk away. Nothing but expensive repairs unless you buy new. Im sticking with Cadillac Escalades. Looking for one with under 200,000 kms around $15,000-$18,000 for a winter beater. Looking to trade a 2008 Pontiac Torrent AWD with 144,000 kms in good shape and cash for the rest. Prefer white but black is ok too. Im in Niagara Region.

A Looker — I love the look more than anything but the handling is great I love the different modes you can put the car in. I have been using snow mode alot The next time I purchase I will get heated seats and navigation. The sunroof is amazing to covers the size of the entire roof .

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It's fun to drive sporty as  SUV's go and it's great in the Rochester weather.

Cons: I bit of turbo lag

Buy One Now...forget Subaru! — I think 110 awards from around the world says enough about this car. The styling is AMAZING and it gets great fuel economy without looking like a Subaru or Honda. Although it's not just about the outside, the interior is modern, sophisticated, luxurious and well appointed. I can't think of another SUV that checks all of the boxes like the Evoque. I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a great all-around car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Styling, performance and luxury

Cons: I wish it had a couple features that are found on less expensive cars (Xenon headlights).

Great Urban Suv — I've owned a 2013 Range Rover Evoque Pure Premium for a little over a month now. The ride quality and comfort is great, acceleration and handling is awesome. This car definitely has a high level of sex appeal. I look forward to driving it for the next few years.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Gas mileage is fantastic - 20 in the city, 28+ on the highway.  The ride is great, it's comfortable, gorgeous inside and out. The front and rear seats are comfortable, blind spots are minimal, turbo makes for great acceleration.

Cons: Parking sensors are virtually useless and highly annoying.  You can't get the Pure Premium with Xenons and the panoramic moonroof - in order to get these options, you have to upgrade to the Dynamic with is $10,000 +.  Also, the voice command/navigation is tedious.  You have to go through approximately 10 steps to enter a destination, confirming each one along the way.  Sounds like a 4-cylinder.

Great Vehicle Overall — I love the look of this one of a kind vehicle. The entertainment and performance packages make this vehicle very fun to drive. This vehicle drives and handles very well. Acceleration, braking very good also! A good plus is the gas mileage averaging around 22mpg.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great car to drive with good power

Cons: The outside mirrors are large from the inside sometimes causing a small blind spot.
