Keeping in mind its a work van...The transit connect is noisy, every plastic dash panel rattles. There is a low pitch hum on everyone of them I drove. I also notice the same distinct odor in theses vans. The van get good gas mileage and drives like a car. It is easy to maintain and parts are can be found a local auto part stores.

Great in all aspects except it is missing all wheel drive. In the northern Pennsylvania area, all wheel drive is valued.

It Suits The Commercial Market Well. — My wife wanted this vehicle for 2 years and I declined to purchase it due to less than stellar reviews. I finally purchased the 2013 XLT Premium wagon in Mars Red, [very rare], for her and she has never been happier with any vehicle I ever bought for her. I feel this Transit Connect was the right vehicle at the right time. The 2014 Transit Connect will NOT appeal to the small commercial vehicle market as the 2010 thru 2013 has. Most complaints were of poor acceleration and top speed. Don't you know, business owners want to limit workers driving speed and also have a vehicle that stands out from the crowd for advertising. This one does both.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Very manuverable, comfortable but not one you will fall asleep in, very economical, fun to drive, cheap to own, keeps up with freeway traffic adequately

Cons: Slow acceleration, somewhat noisy but not excessive, rear seats are for kids only
