Good Value — Great style. I have no real complaints with the VW Jetta Wagon. I just wish it were slightly roomier in the backseat. At low speeds on hills, there is a hiccup before it gets into gear. This is eliminated in Sport mode.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: fuel efficient and great turbo power

Cons: could be a bit larger

Terrific Teutonic Style. — Has been a good member of our family of VWs for the last few years. We have a 2000 Camper, 2012 Golf R and this...wagon... Good looking, comfortable road trip car. Tunes, sunroof, space for all and everything. Thank you VW for still making a station wagon for US consumption. A crossover SUV just isn't the same!

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great car for family and hauling. BIG sunroof. almost like a convertible.

    Cons: Automatic...because of family.

The Most Practical Vehicle I Have Ever Owned! — So far I have almost 5000 miles on her and she has given me 36 mpg around town. I love the sunroof, it is huge! Sirius stereo is great! The engine is pretty muscular with so much torque, I surprise quite a few people with how quick this car can take off! I have loads of room, it is very comfortable, and it gets great mpg, What else would you need? I can't wait to see how it does on a roadtrip! Supposedly after the engine passes the 10000 mile breakin period it will be able to get 50+ mpg!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great MPGs, nice stereo, sunroof is awesome

Cons: Still figuring out the navigation. I don't like the button placement for the Bluetooth on the steering wheel, always seem to accidentally hit it and turn it on. Luckily all I have to say is "cancel" and it will turn off.

Pretty Disappointed — The Bluetooth system in the car is a joke. Nobody can hear me when I am using the Bluetooth and am driving 60 mph or above. It is incredibly frustrating. The heater take about 20 minutes to really kick in. The windows catch and squeak when it is warm out. The car shudders occasionally when I'm driving at slower speeds.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The TDI handles very well. It's a solid car and drives smoothly.

    Cons: Terrible Bluetooth system
    Poor heating system
    The windows catch and squeak
The car shudders occasionally when driving at slower speeds.

Lots Of Space And Wonderful Mpg. — If you are looking for a car with good space, decent handling, and fuel economy galore - this car is for you. The Navigation is actually one of my favorite items in the car, and the sunroof is one of my daughter's favorites as well.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Incredible MPG, and good power when compared to hybrids. The interior is very nicely made.  If you do a lot of highway driving, a TDI is for you.

Cons: No auto wipers, no auto headlights, and the headlights are quite dim if you ask me.  Prior vehicles had those items and I know it's easy to turn on your wipers/lights, but once you have them you get spoiled.  My only gripe about the NAV is that it doesn't tell you if your final destination is on the right or the left until the last second.
