November 2020. I just bought a 2012 Prius-C, trim Three. She runs good, gas mileage is pretty accurate and battery is charging good. The tail lamps unseal at the seams by where the hatch opens causing water and dirt to enter. From what I read its a common problem. I ordered a new set for $150 and will add additional sealant to prevent future problems. The navigation head unit is not worth having as it is pretty outdated and must press screen hard to operate while trying not to brake it. I will probably try to find a better after market head unit. No other complaints so far.

Good Reliable Budget Car If You're Looking For A Hybrid. — As a daily commuter, it works pretty well so long as you don't have a bad road with lots of bumps and potholes to drive through. It does struggle to keep up in highway traffic while going uphill or when merging. Its small size makes it easy to park, so it's also nice in the city. While the navigation is nothing to write home about, it's definitely nice to have built into the car in case your phone doesn't have service or dies.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great mileage, low turning radius, easy to parallel park with.

Cons: Poor shock absorption, so you'll feel every bump you hit. Lot of road/wind noise on the freeway.

2012 Prius C Ii — This is also a pretty cool car.. once you get over the nerdiness and geekiness of it and realize how practical this car is for a daily commuter, it's awesome. I watch the MPG gauge constantly and try to get the highest I can, so I average 55-70 mpg.

Pros: gas mileage, space, handling, much better looking the the prius liftback, and speed.. still manages to hit 110mph

Cons: acceleration, ground clearance

Excellent Car For Mpg. — I like this car because of the mpg, I chose it because I travel a lot in car so I needed a good mpg car and I found this one as one of the best. I used this car mostly for trips and going to work, every 350miles around there I put gas for only $25. This car is very enjoyable because it has everything that I need it. Navigation system, excellent mpg, and many others. The only this I would improve about this car is the speed, but everything else is good.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Excellent GAS MILEAGE!! Almost up to 55 or more! Very comfortable and silent car.

Cons: Not a fast car.

2012 Toyota Prius c Three Review
James says:
It looks better than a Prius in my opinion, but it is still not a car for people that want anything close to power. Its great, practical and with snow tires can dominate where needed. It just needs about 50 more horsepower to be fun.
