Comfy, Quick, Low Handling And Great Gas Mileage At 50+ Mpg! — I love my Honda Insight because it gets 50+ mpg, handles very well up to about 70-75 mph, and has lots of cargo room with the hatchback and rear folding seats. Backseat has pretty good head and leg room for a low sitting car. I like the gauges that show your fuel efficiency, miles left on each tank of gas, outside temp, etc. The only thing I really don't like is that there is not much storage "cubbies" in this vehicle. It has door pockets and 4 cup holders in the front, and door pockets in the back. No seat back pockets, no center console; I miss those extra little things with the Insight.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: I get 50+ mpg!  Great pickup for a small hybrid engine.  Handles great up to about 70 mph.  Has pretty good cargo room for a smaller car too.

Cons: No storage compartments other than the glove box; doesn't even have pockets on the backs of the seats.  Due to very light weight, does not get through snow expectionally well with the stock tires.

Great Commuter Vehicle — Overall, it's a great car. I used this to commute 100 miles per day. Gas mileage was 44.5 MPG for me over my time driving. Worth the money, for sure. Definitely recommend the vehicle, but if you are looking for performance, look somewhere else.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Gas Mileage is great. Car is well appointed. Typical Honda build. Very reliable.

Cons: Engine struggles a bit on hills and with cargo, but nothing dangerous.

I really love driving the Honda Insight. It is small enough to have all of the perks of a compact, but drives like a race car. The CVT took a little getting used to, but it is awesome to not waste gas... Read More
