Solid. Reliable, So Far. Very Good In Snow. — Was expecting better gas mileage in town. Very good gas mileage on highway. Wished the car had running boards from the factory. Installed aftermarket running boards after purchase. Very pleased with the traction and handling in snow/ice conditions. Installation of aftermarket all-weather floor mats proved to be a good idea following later winter snowstorms.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Looks. Convenience. Ride/handling.

Cons: Around town gas mileage. Difficulty with SYNC system.

Great Family Car — Super quiet ride at highway speeds, however when windows are down you have to put all windows in perfect position not to hear wind drums. Great in winter with awd. I will defiantly purchase a new edge in the future.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Sync is awesome. Connects to iPhone simple and has twice as many functions as other brands Bluetooth technology.

Cons: Gas mileage could use a boost

Nice Car For Mama — Was slightly disappointed with the lag in the FBW system(s). Is a fun car to drive, gets a little loose with just the front wheel drive. Acceleration is excellent and with the oversized and match tires handles like a car.... not a sports car, but better than most SUV's.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: This is a very nice car for mama to drive.

Cons: Nav system responds very slow ... use your phone easier and quicker

2012 Ford Edge Sel — I love it! The style, and especially my ford touch. (love technology) Love the black tuxedo and a big plus for the chrome wheels! The steering is tight very easy to handle. I have the SEL trim. Lots of room for luggage Back seats folds done very easy. Back seats are roomy and sits 3 very comfortably . Great on fuel for a suv, I commute 78 miles round trip at least 4 times a week for work and it uses about the same as my 2011 ford fusion which I traded in for edge. Over all its a great cuv. The cons in my opinion is minor, I would still buy another Edge. I have seen the 2015 ford edge concept\2015 lincoln mkx concept (YouTube.com) and plan on buying one if its concept (interior )is very close to the actual build.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good on fuel for a suv I've gotten up to 23 mpg. Low cabin noise. Sits 5 adults comfortably. Fun to drive. Backup camera is a great saftey feature. Folding and reclining seats easy to activate.  Ride isn't rough. Tight steering.

Cons: After 37000 miles I notice rattling in the dash, not all the time and not during a long period of driving but the rattling is there.. Backing up it makes a roaring noise from the tires like they are rubbing or maybe the brakes are down to metal. Had it checked Ford service center said it was fine. There is a horrible lag in transmition when you press gas paddle to hard at take off. Not sure what the dash sound is but will update post as things occur. I have yet to see the 28 mpg they claim it gets.
