Absolutely Beautiful Car — Overall the car is awesome. It is made for a family...very spacious. I felt that it is very safe and comfortable for my kids. This car is great quality and very appealing to the eye. It is great on gas and acceleration is fantastic. Very quiet! Handling this car is easy and it is very fun to drive. 2012 Acura TL FWD with Technology PackageReview
Worth It — I'm a Honda fan through and through and where I could have purchased a brand new Honda Accord I felt that the styling of the Acura was well worth it. I am not fond of the 2013 and 2014 designs (the shield/grill extends to the hood the car now and where some people may not care I thought it was ugly) so I settled on a 2012. The power of this vehicle is awesome...not overwhelming but enough. I get plenty of compliments and the tech package is money. AcuraLink paired with SiriusXM gives me traffic updates and reroutes me based on traffic as well. The Bluetooth functionality has been improved upon as well and streaming the music sounds great! Typically I'm a CD person because the fidelity is that much better but I will say that the Bluetooth sound is no slouch. I have a HDD built in as well so that I'm able to copy my CDs to it and a USB cable for an MP3 player of choice. All in all I'm quite happy with my purchase. The only thing I would change is the fuel economy...I feel that it could've been a lot better. What I may start doing is utilizing the paddle-shifters more that way I have better control over my fuel economy. Also key-less entry and proximity sensors are great! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: This vehicle is sexy, powerful, and provides me with all the features I could need. Cons: Fuel economy...I have to fill up once a week whereas on my Honda I was able to stretch it a bit more. |

I Love Acura Tl's! — I had a TL before, 1999, which I still have, but wanted a new car after 10+ years. I was so happy with my previous TL I thought I would upgrade to the RL. When I went to look at them though, there was not enough extra in th RL that justified the huge jump in price. So I went back to the TL. It's such a great value. It's an upscale car with great pick up and it's sporty and fun to drive without sacrificing reliability or comfort! What more can you ask for? I love this car! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Comfortable, powerful, sporty now that Acura revised the design in the 2012 model. Cons: Sometimes automatic shifting is a bit rough when accelerating slowly. |
