Handles like a car! The V8 and 5.6 L engine gives you a lot of power and quick acceleration!! Spacious for children and great for long trips and heavy loads!!

2011 Nissan Armada Review
I just purchased my 2011 Nissan Armada PLATINUM and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! I would recommend this SUV to anyone that has kids as it has the 3rd row back seat and a decent sized cargo area behind the 3rd row. The front seats are very comfy and can adjust to your pre-programmed seat possition when you turn on the ignition. I have 2 boys, ages 10 and 7 and they love to fight. Thats when the 3rd row comes in handy. I make one of them sit in the 2nd row and the other one in the 3rd row. It reduces the fights by about +/-75%. I love all of the features that the Platinum edition has. My kids love the DVD Entertainment System...which has wireless headphones so other passengers...mainly myself...dont have to listen to the movie playing. My favorite feature of this vehicle is the Intelligent key. I am constantly DIGGING thru my purse to find my keys, but thats not required as long as my purse is within a couple feet of the vehicle. i can lock & unlock my doors, open the back lift-gate, and open my windows remotely. The ONLY thing that i dont like is the gas mileage. Around town its around 14.5 mpg and on the road it is between 16 to 18 mpg...BUT I knew this before I bought it so i cant complain. Im sure the newer models have better gas mileage, but I wanted an older one because i like the body-style of the 2011 or 2012 more than anything newer than that. i give this truck 5 stars and highly recommend it to anyone with kids and/or travels a lot.

Family Car Ranked 2011 Toyota Sequoia worse.
"Compared to the Toyota Sequoia, the Armada is just more cozy, comfortable, and elegant than the Toyota Sequoia. The Armada is so comfortable, even in the 3rd row which has plenty of leg room and could certainly accommodate 3 adults. The total passengers including driver is 8 people with the bench seat in the 2nd row and it is 7 people with the captains seats (or bucket seats) in the 2nd row (which has a console between the two bucket seats). If so equipped, the 3rd row seats fold down electrically. They can also recline some. The 2nd row can recline some as well, making passengers comfortable."
Value Ranked 2011 Toyota Sequoia worse.
"Both SUVs, the Armada and the Sequoia, have pretty much all the same features. The 3rd row seat in the Sequoia is equipped to hold 3 passengers, but they would have to be tiny or young children to fit in the 3rd row seats, where the Armada is wider and longer than the Sequoia, therefore making it roomier for passengers in the Armada."

Overall:

Large, Utility Vehicle — I have owned two of these trucks and love the room. The power is always there. I have spent quite a decent amount on repairs and maintainence. When towing, a large tongue weight can cause squating issues on the rear end.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great power, room, cargo compacity

Cons: Very poor fuel mileage.  Can be high on maintainence.  Squats hard when towing. Brakes are poor.
